If you are an enthusiastic and creative Project Manager with experience in navigating the AWS ecosystem and are looking for a new challenge in a growing business, then this may be the opportunity for you.

As an AWS Project Manager for Cloud On Demand (COD), you will work closely with the greater AWS Team to ensure projects in the AWS space are successfully rolled out. These projects range from competencies to migrations, so the successful candidate will need the aptitude for managing projects in many different forms across the AWS landscape.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
• Work closely with the team to identify competencies and strategies that need to be rolled out and achieved in a timely fashion
• Work closely with COD’s Project Management Office to ensure compliance across all projects
• Create relevant project documentation and templates that can be used across multiple projects in the AWS space
• Schedule meetings with project stakeholders, ensuring timely milestone achievement
• Schedule Steerco meetings where relevant

Education:
• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Tertiary qualification in Project Management or relevant qualification (advantageous)

Experience:
• 2+ years’ experience working in a project-related role
• AWS experience is an added advantage
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in ClickUp will be advantageous
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
