Requirements:

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, ideally in a discipline such Business Administration or Information Technology.
• Certification in relevant technology vendors: CompTIA Storage+ and Backup and Recovery (Acronis, Veeam, HP, Dell, IBM etc.)


Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a technical support or specialist role with a focus on security, backup and recovery solutions


Skills

• Knowledge of various security, backup, and recovery software and tools.
• Proven experience with cloud-based security, backup, and recovery solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good track record in achieving financial and non-financial targets.
• Good track record in maintaining partner relationships.
• Good understanding of the ICT industry and ability to keep up with technology and Industry developments (Cloud experience Advantageous).
• Good customer service etiquette.

• Ability to work effectively independently or within a team to achieve outcome.
• Able to present to customer in-person or via Teams.
• Establish relationships with Vendors to understand product knowledge, programs etc.
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy and Roadmap

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for security, backup, and recovery solutions.

Product Development

• Collaborate with marketing to design and develop go to market strategies around security, backup, and recovery solutions.


Technical Support

• Provide technical expertise and support for security, backup, and recovery solutions.

System Design

• Assist in the design of secure data backup and recovery solutions for customers.


Security Management

• Ensure that all products meet industry-specific security standards and compliance requirements.

Disaster Recovery Planning

• Develop disaster recovery for solutions customers.


Customer Support

• Work closely with customers to provide technical advice and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of security, backup, and recovery solutions.


Additional
• Own reliable transport.
• This is an office-based position in the Woodmead branch.
